What we offer is Arabic studies brought to you at home or to a café or library or a place convenient to you. We feel that this provides the ideal conditions for learning.

Each lesson is usually two hours in length and the price  is set at 400 Syrian Lira per hour for one-on-one classes. Longer or shorter lessons can be arranged as well as classes for small groups.

* Our methods
As a starting point we make our classes specific to your needs and wishes. Some of our students are preparing for specific tests and exams and bring their own material, for example, from their home universities. Others have specific areas of interest, such as Media Arabic or work related topics. We tailor our programs to suit the individual student and usually spend the first lesson assessing your level, discussing your aims and agreeing on the way to get there.

While we both speak English and French, we generally seek to keep as much of the teaching as possible in Arabic. It is our experience that the best results are achieved through continuous exposure.

Books about Arabic grammar and other books about different topics.

The Syrian dialect:
Ahlan wa sahlan about the basic grammar.
Yamaal al sham:about grammar with many exercises.
Al shamyat about grammar with many exercises.

In addition to Arabic tutoring, we can  help students to find a room or apartment in Damascus. If it is your first time in Syria we can meet you at the airport and help you to reach your destination.
